As the name suggests, these products are formulated for deeply moisturizing dry, or over-processed hair. This is a gentle cleanser - which means unlike a clarifying shampoo, this Giovanni Deep Moisture shampoo is moisturizing and will not strip everything out of your scalp and hair. These products are CG - sulfates, parabens, mineral oils free!
When in doubt, always find ingredients online and paste it on this website called “is it cg” to confirm safety. For future reference we only use, recommend, and sell CG products💥 Ok let's get it on!
Cleansing Agents in the Shampoo: Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate. These ingredients are cleansing agents that could potentially be drying, but are not as harsh as sulfates. The second ingredient is derived from coconut. My friend Lori recommends it if you are feeling coconut sensitive!
This moisturising conditioner will not dull, strip, or damage your hair. It’s 100% color-safe, paraben-free, and cruelty-free. As the name suggests, it deeply moisturizes Damaged Hair. It also helps you detangle as you can see here in the video. I also found that this conditioner makes my hair very shiny - must be the aloe vera and the Hydrolyzed Soy Protein in this!
Conditioner has mild protein. The Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is listed as the 9th ingredient. These proteins you can either avoid or look for, depending on your hair type. Some are good for the hair diet, especially damaged hair. However, normal hair or protein sensitive hair could begin to feel stiff, frizzy, and dry, indicating your hair is getting too much protein. This conditioner is coconut-oil free!
When to get it
Perfect for lazy days when you don't feel like prepoo or deep conditioning your hair. If you’re on a budget, cowashing doesn't work for you or if you prefer a lathering shampoo then this Giovanni Deep Moisture shampoo is the one for you. Buy Giovanni Products in India here
When to avoid it
This formulation with Apple and Aloe extracts provide antioxidant protection. HOWEVER, if you are sensitive to aloe vera, have low porosity hair that is sensitive to protein then this is not the best choice for you.
If you got this shampoo and conditioner after watching my video or recommendations but felt your hair is rough after then it is most probably the protein or aloe or coconut in this product that is not meant for your hair.
It is always wise to use products based on your hair needs. If your hair doesn't need protein, then it’s best to use protein-free products or balance with protein products to see if that makes a difference for your hair needs.

Mine is Medium porosity. Can I use the products mentioned in this video?
Can these products be used every alternate day for washing and styling? Will it damage my hair?
Too much of anything is bad, isn't it? In the same way, shampooing multiple times in the week will, of course, will have negative effects on your hair and scalp. Washing every 3-4 days is normal however limit to shampoo only once a week and use a trusty cowash to alternate on the other washdays - for best results.
